Ireland’s best Gin & Tonic has been voted by the public – and we can finally tell you where exactly you need to go to find the Emerald Isle’s top tipple.

The Irish Gin & Tonic Fest ran across all 32 counties on the island of Ireland from June 26 – July 1.

In total, 227 venues registered and each of them created their own signature Gin & Tonic, with one of the fifteen Irish gins that were on board.

After tallying up the hundreds and hundreds of votes, we are delighted to announce that An Púcán on 11 Forster Street, Eyre Square, Galway are this year’s winners!

Their exceptional Irish Gin & Tonic was made with Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin from The Shed Distillery in Leitrim. To that, they added fresh red chilli and mango along with Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water.

Doug Leddin, An Púcán has said:

“We are absolutely delighted that we have won at An Púcán. In the last year we have really worked hard to establish ourselves in the Gin Market and we are delighted to see our customers enjoying high-quality premium Irish Gins.”

Patrick Rigney, from Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin also mention:

“It’s wonderful to see Connacht’s first ever gin, as made in Drumshanbo Co. Leitrim, voted as Ireland’s favourite Gin & Tonic in another Connacht county. An Púcán’s presentation of the Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin, chilli and mango serve is absolutely stunning.”

Massive congrats to everyone involved.
