As proven by last weekend’s encounter with boxer Floyd Mayweather, Ireland’s Conor McGregor is pretty much keen to take anyone on in a fight.
Now, a multi Olympic gold medalist has set out a new challenge for the MMA star.
American Olympic legend, Michael Phelps, has challenged our The Notorious to a race. Phelps took to Twitter to post the challenge last night along with a photo.

The 28 time Olympic champion is one of the long list of people who want to take on Conor McGregor next.
Now it’s safe to say that the challenge is probably a joke but after all the hype our Dublin native is getting after his fight with Mayweather, but we would love to see this happen.
Let’s hope he responds to the challenge!
