Monday morning means back to work for most people... or is today Tuesday? Curse you, Bank Holiday!

Anyway once you've figured out how to function again after the long weekend we're sure you'll want to know how the weather is shaping up for the week.

Well, we've got good news and bad news. Today (Tuesday, we've checked), will feature some sunny spells and scattered showers, some of which will be thundery.

Things get better tomorrow though as Wednesday is set to be a dry and bright day with temperatures ranging from 16 to 21 degrees.

This will largely continue into Thursday with some rain in the north west while Friday looks set to be sunny too.
