Two People Treated For Knife Injuries Following Attempted Robbery In Galway

Two people were taken to hospital to receive treatment for knife injuries following an attempted robbery in Galway this week.

According to Galway Bay FM News, the incident took place in the Spanish Arch area around 1am this morning when a man carrying a knife demanded money from the pair.

The man and woman sustained injuries and were taken to University Hospital Galway for treatment.

A 29-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody at Mill Street Station, where is currently being questioned.
