There’s black ice on the roads in Donegal on the N13 Letterkenny/Derry Road at Manorhamilton and on approaches to Buncrana on the R238.
The Sherlockstown Road (Sallins/Straffan Road) by Bodenstown Golf Club in Kildare is also dangerous at the moment.
AA Roadwatch has warned drivers to take care, defrost their cars and remember that stopping distances are longer on frost and ice.
With a risk of snow and ice in the coming days, remember to exercise additional caution when driving and that your stopping distance will increase significantly. For more advice on driving in icy conditions check out our blog: https://t.co/C0zghHeJjS pic.twitter.com/skSaMxrZcA
