A new video commemorating 100 years since Armistice Day has been released.
The EP features actor Cillian Murphy, singers Sinead O’Connor and Imelda May, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, Pink Floyd Drummer Nick Mason and producer Brian Eno.
In addition to the commemoration, it has also been released in support of today’s war on cancer.
The spoken word piece by Murphy is inspired by letters written by Lieutenant Michael Thomas Wall from the Royal Irish Regiment to his mother in Dublin during WW1.
The EP is part of Professor’s Chris Evamore’s project which involved creating songs from letters written by WW1 soldiers.
Full proceeds from the album will go to raising cancer awareness.
