WATCH: Tipperary Kid Tries To Beat The Toy Grabber Machine… But Gets Stuck

We’re fairly sure that when it comes to pinning down where exactly all our weird trust issues come from, it can be blamed on one thing, and one thing only: The dreaded toy grabber machine found in funfairs and arcades all across Ireland.

Every time we were SO sure that the €2 we had begged from our parents would net us the stuffed animal of our dreams.

We spent hours thinking up what way to grab, at what angle, which exact toy would be the one to fall into our hands, and as we all know, it was NONE OF THEM.

So we’re pretty impressed with little Jamie Bracken-Murphy’s bold idea.

The three year-old from Nenagh got fed up being scammed, and climbed into the machine to take his deserved plush prize… But well, then he got stuck.

Luckily, according to Beat FM, an off-duty firefighter was nearby and got Jamie (and his toy!) out safe and sound.

Don’t come between a kid and their toys.
