Weather Set To Plummet With Stormy Conditions On The Way

Jen

It was good while it lasted.

A major drop in temperatures is on the way over the next couple of nights, according to Met Éireann.

Tonight will feel much cooler than recent nights with temperatures only reaching 6° to 9°.

The national forecaster is predicting below average temperatures over the next week with plenty of rain.

Met Éireann said today will be “cloudy with scattered showers with one or two heavy showers in places.”

Tomorrow will start off dry, but most of the country will see rain as the day goes on.

The outlook for the rest of the week is more of the same as cloudy and rainy conditions persist.

“Further rain or showers crossing in from the Atlantic alternating with drier and brighter interludes.”

And the humid conditions will be back with a bang at the weekend with temperatures climbing back to highs of 22° but with clouds and rain persisting.

Overall, just one big let down really. Duvet week anyone?
