Weather Warnings Issued For These 8 Counties Today

Farewell summer, it was nice knowing you. 

Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for eight counties today from 11am until 9pm. 

Heavy or thundery downpours will affect Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal today.

“Heavy downpours will develop in places by late morning with the risk of thunder and localised spot flooding in the afternoon,” says Met Eireann. 

And not only will it be wet – but it’ll also be humid. Yay.

Pack your deodorant. 

Some sunshine breaking through this morning but in general it will be cloudy with a few patches of rain or drizzle.
