Another day, another Met Éireann weather warning.
Nothing new here.
It’ll be a dry but cold day today but motorists are advised to take extra caution while out driving.
Cold with frost clearing and dense fog thinning slowly during the morning, but lingering in some areas through the day. Some sunny spells developing but for many areas staying cloudy and murky. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees generally, but close to freezing in any lingering fog and winds light in many areas, but moderate easterly along the south coast.

And later on? It’ll be mostly cold and dry too.
Some clear periods, but fog and low cloud in other areas and some patchy drizzle possible mainly in parts of Ulster. Frost will occur mainly in the southern half of the country with temperatures falling to between 0 and -2 degrees Celsius, but temperatures holding between 1 and 4 degrees Celsius further north and winds will be light east or northeast.
