Bad News – Paddy’s Weekend Is Set To Be A Wet One

James Fenton

The sun has had its hat on here in Ireland over the past couple of days but it looks like we should enjoy it while it lasts.

The country’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities could be in danger of being washed out, if Met Eireann are to be believed.

According to their website, sunny spells are set to continue until tomorrow but on Friday they will be replaced by a cool, windy day with patches of rain, drizzle and fog. Standard Irish Weather for our national holiday, eh?

To make matters worse, Saturday will be mostly cloudy while Sunday is set to be a windy one with HEAVY showers likely.

We hope you’ve got your green umbrella handy.
