Ditch Your Brolly And Pray You Won’t Need It For The Rest Of The Day

Alana Laverty

Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day.

Patchy rain will spread eastwards across the country in the earlier half of today.

The rain will clear into the Irish Sea around lunchtime, leaving the remainder of the day largely dry with good spells of sunshine.

After a humid start, it will get fresher as the rain clears.

THANK GOD. Our deodorant can only do so much.

Maximum temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees. Winds will be blustery for a time in northern areas but will ease later in the day.

As for tonight?

It will be mostly dry overnight with a mix of cloud and clear spells.

Areas of mist and fog may affect some southern and eastern coastal fringes later. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light, variable breezes.

Tomorrow will be cloudy with sunny spells and patches of drizzle.
