So the Bank Holiday was a bit of washout but the glorious weather of previous weeks hasn't left us just yet, as it looks like things are going to change for the better this weekend.
Met Éireann has forecasted that it will be drizzly and a bit chilly for most of the week, but on Friday things will take a turn, being mainly dry with sunny spells.
Saturday promises to be pretty warm, with temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees, being warmer in the the midlands and along the east of the country.
Sunday looks like it'll be a breezy, fresh day with sunny spells and a few showers here and there. Temperatures should be around 16 to 20 degrees.
We're choosing to believe the weather people have got it right this time.
