Here’s How The Weather Is Shaping Up In Ireland This Weekend

James Fenton

If you’re heading out and about over the weekend we’ve got some good news.

Met Éireann has released a fairly positive forecast with little to no rain on the horizon. Of course, being Ireland, that doesn’t mean there won’t be some showers, with patchy drizzle predicted for Saturday in between largely sunny spells. G’wan ya good thing.

It’s generally going to be a warm one with temperatures reaching 21 degrees tomorrow and 20 on Sunday.

Sunday will see some showers as well with ‘scattered outbreaks of rain’ being forecast. Sure look.

Here’s the full outlook for the weekend.

Saturday

Saturday will be a mostly dry day with good sunny spells developing but it will stay slightly cloudier in the southwest with patchy drizzle there. Top temperatures will be 17 or 18 degrees along Atlantic coastal counties but generally 19 to 21 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes.

Sunday

Generally mild and cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain. Cooler, clearer weather will develop in the northwest during the afternoon with temperatures here of 14 or 15 degrees but elsewhere afternoon temperatures will be 17 to 20 degrees. Moderate locally fresh westerly winds.
