Whether you're a diehard Grinch or been counting down the days til that turkey dinner, there's been no avoiding the signs of Christmas over the last few weeks.

The lights are up, the mornings have been crisp and the first of the big Christmas ads have already started landing, with Burberry's starring none other than our own Domhnall Gleeson.

Now, Met Éireann is predicting that snow could be on the way at the weekend, with plummeting temperatures leading to "winter flurries".

It shouldn't impact too much on your weekend plans though, as any snowfall will be confined to higher ground and conditions will generally be cold with sunny skies and a fresh breeze.
