Met Éireann have issued weather warnings for Cork and Kerry today, and we can expect anything between 25-40mm of rain between Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

If you are in West Cork and Kerry, expect the worst of the onslaught, as weather stations in the area have recorded the highest amount of rainfall in a single day since records began.

It will be wet in most areas on Saturday night and Sunday morning, with bright spells and heavy downpours throughout the evening.
