Weather Warning Issued For Two Counties Ahead Of Washout Weekend

This does not bode well for the weekend….

Met Éireann have issued weather warnings for Cork and Kerry today, and we can expect anything between 25-40mm of rain between Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

If you are in West Cork and Kerry, expect the worst of the onslaught, as weather stations in the area have recorded the highest amount of rainfall in a single day since records began.

But the forecast isn’t looking too good for the rest of the country either…

It will be cool and breezy on Friday, but the rain will move up from the south and blanket the rest of the country throughout Saturday.

It will be wet in most areas on Saturday night and Sunday morning, with bright spells and heavy downpours throughout the evening.
