Wet And Windy With Minus Temperatures – Welcome To The Next Week Of Weather In Ireland

If you were planning on whipping out the sun tan lotion this coming week, you better think again.

Met Éireann is predicting a particularly gloomy one over the next seven days with everything from flooding, snow and high winds set to make their mark.

The experts say that the start of the week will be rather unsettled with the risk of sleet or wet snow on Tuesday. Wet and windy weather will bring frost with it on Wednesday before the mildest day of the week arrives on Thursday.

To wrap things up, things are sounding ominous for Friday with the forecast reading ‘Turning cold again, and very windy with showers or longer spells of rain, especially across the northern third of the country.
