Wet Weather Set To Continue For The Rest Of The Week

katedemolder

Bad news for the Emerald Isle as the wet and windy weather is set to continue for the rest of the week.

Met Éireann has reported that while the days may turn fresher by midweek, the mixed conditions will continue into the weekend.

“Remaining showers, some still heavy in Ulster, clearing overnight with fresher, less humid conditions extending countrywide under clearing skies [on Tuesday night]”

“Scattered, mainly light showers will continue to occur along the Atlantic coastal fringes, however. Minimum temperatures 11 to 13 degrees”

And it doesn’t get any better for Thursday onwards…

“Thursday will see outbreaks of locally heavy rain in Connacht and Ulster will extend southeastwards to affect west Munster and north Leinster, but the rain will tend to become lighter and patchier as it progresses further south and east with some parts of south Leinster and east Munster holding dry.”

“A blustery day and feeling cool in the fresh and gusty southwest winds which will be strong about the coastal fringes. Maximum temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees, with highest values in the southeast.”

Scattered showers are also expected across the weekend.

The good weather was fun while it lasted…
