This Is Where Each Irish College Ranks In The New ‘World University Rankings’

The latest 2019 Times Higher Education World University Rankings show that only two Irish colleges have improved on their places since last year.

University College Cork and Maynooth University are the only two to jump up the rankings, while Trinity College Dublin remains the top dog of the Irish colleges at 120th.

University College Dublin (UCD) and Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), both retained places ranked between 201 and 250.

University College Cork is now ranked in the 301 and 350 bracket while NUI Galway slips between 50 and 150 places to fall into the 201 to 250 bracket.

Maynooth University entered the top 400 but Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) fell out of the top 800.

Dublin City University and University of Limerick retained their places of between 401 and 500, and from 501 to 600 respectively.

The top ten ranked college in the world are as follows:

10 (9) ETH Zurich – Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich Switzerland

=10 13 University of Pennsylvania United States
