WOW air’s ‘Purple Friday’ Flash Sale Is Flippin’ Amazing Because The Flights Are So Cheap

WOW air has launched a ‘Purple Friday’ flash sale with low cost fares to Iceland and seven North American destinations

With Black Friday being one of the most anticipated shopping days in the year, WOW air has made the day its own by creating Purple Friday, offering its Irish passengers even lower fares for travel to Iceland and to the airlines North American destinations.

From today (Tuesday 20 November), WOW air is offering its Irish customers fares from as little as €119.99 one way, including taxes and charges, to Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, St Louis, Pittsburgh, Toronto and Montréal via Reykjavik.

The airline is also offering fares from Dublin to Iceland from €49.99 one way including taxes and charges.

The offer is available for booking from Tuesday, 20 November, until midnight on Sunday, 25 November, for travel between November 2018 and April 2019.

Earlier this year WOW air announced it will be connecting its Irish passengers to two new North American destinations.

The airline will begin flying from Dublin, via Reykjavik, to Orlando from 18 December this year and will operate flights from Dublin, via Reykjavik, to Vancouver beginning in June 2019.

Commenting today, Svanhvít Fridriksdóttir, Director of Communications at WOW air, said:

“With Christmas fast approaching, we are delighted to offer our annual Purple Friday discounts to our customers. We always say there is no better gift than the gift of travel and we are excited to continue to offer our customers even lower fares for travel to Iceland and North America just in time for the gifting season.”

The ‘Purple Friday’ discount is valid for new online bookings on selected WOW air flights when booking a round trip. Fares are based on lowest one-way WOW basic fare and includes all taxes and charges.
