Louis Capaldi is possibly one of my favourite people to follow on social media. He doesn’t take himself too seriously and he’s bloody gas.
Not only that though, but he’s also just an all-around nice guy.
Stopping to chat to fans on a recent jaunt through the airport, Capaldi was approached by Offaly native Gráinne Kenny.
The singing Scotsman happily obliged when asked to film a short video for Offaly GAA and can be seen congratulating Ferbane and Naomh Ciaran on their recent club wins at the weekend.
Shoutout to @NaomhCiaranLGFA and @ferbanegaa on their wins this weekend from myself and my good pal @LewisCapaldi on our way back to sunny Glasgow 💚 HON THE TOWN pic.twitter.com/yLz4DF8kTA

Not bad pronunciation either. What a guy.
Ferbane ended their 25-year-long wait for Senior Football glory on Sunday while the Naomh Ciaran ladies came out on top against Wexford in the Leinster Intermediate Football Final.
So between bagging the gold and getting a shoutout from Lewis Capaldi, you could say it was a big weekend for Offaly.
