We’re bringing one of our super popular AIB virtual first-time buyer events to the fine people of Cork. Once again, we will be inviting people who are buying a home in and around the Cork City area for an evening full of super important information, great advice and top tips.
Since 2018, we have been teaming up with AIB to give first-time buyers a helping hand. Buying your first home is a big step, so we want to help in any way that we can. Want to join us on September 1st for just that? Here is everything you need to know.
Kicking off at 7pm, we will once again be joined by a panel of experts as our very own Cassie Stokes leads the event. Here’s who you can expect to hear from…
Patricia Stokes of Stokes Auctioneers and Valuers will be the estate agent for this event, providing invaluable insights to attendees. With over 35 years in the industry of auctioneering, you can be assured that Patricia will have nothing but the best pieces of advice.
Also on the panel will be director at MDS Construction Ltd Peter Finn, who will give us the lowdown on the construction market. You may know Peter as the co-presenter of the RTÉ show Home Rescue and if you do, you’ll know that he knows what he’s talking about!
And of course, we will have an AIB Mortgage Advisor on hand to answer all of your questions in the form of Brian Keating. Brian has over 13 years experience in Financial Services with AIB Bank, specialising in Mortgage Lending and is based in the Fermoy Branch. ‘Purchasing a home is a huge undertaking, both emotionally and financially, and usually only complete once or twice in our lifetime. I help guide people through the mortgage process from the very beginning right through until they are turning the key in their new dream home.’ Brian will be able to give you an in-depth picture of what the mortgage process looks like.
