The brainchild of a creative Swedish couple who wanted to return to their home village and make something different, the pair decided to build a hotel in the woods comprised of treehouses. Seriously.

An utterly unique hotel experience, here you'll find seven different buildings found among the branches, including treehouses built to look like a mirror cube, a bird's nest, and a UFO.

2. Nayara Spa & Gardens, La Fortuna, Costa Rica

At this Costa Rican spot, it's hard to know where exactly the forest ends and the hotel begins.
