There's no better way to spend a weekend than by driving around one of Ireland's most stunning regions with some close friends.

There's nothing better than buckling up, turning the radio on and cruising around some of the most breathtaking routes in the country with your best mates by your side.

The Ring Of Kerry offers some of the best road trip routes so assemble a crew and enjoy this hugely popular road trip at your own leisurely pace.

Here are some of the most incredible views to check out on the way...

1. Gap Of Dunloe

A narrow pass between Ireland’s highest mountain range, Macgillycuddy's Reeks, and the Purple Mountain in Killarney. This is one of the county's most popular visitor attractions.

2. The Ladies View

So-called because Queen Victoria's ladies in waiting were said to particularly enjoy this famous panorama.

Finally, if you and the gang fancy soaking up some of Kerry's famous sunshine, this is a great place to relax. Why not take some wind surfing lessons while you're there?
