We’ve long said that our nation’s volunteers are some of the best people in the world.
And the folks at Dairygold tend to agree with us…
Dairygold’s latest campaign — which celebrated the volunteers of Ireland with the help of their RollerToaster — has just come to a close, so we thought we’d take a look at how it all went.
A van that resembled a giant toaster, hit the streets of Ireland during the 15-day journey known as ‘The Good Stuff Tour’ to thank Ireland’s best people and treat them with Dairygold toast and warming tea as the ultimate token of appreciation.
After all, good things come to those who #MakeAMinute.
Wanna see everything they got up to?

Over 15 days the ‘RollerToaster’ visited 15 charities.
From Care After Prison, the DSPCA, Jigsaw, Knitted Knockers, Dublin Youth Orchestra, Liberties House, Seal Rescue Ireland and Accessibility Ballinasloe all the way to Monaghan Special Olympics, Liquid Therapy Donegal, Blue Box Limerick, Bray Cardiac in Wicklow and Dodder Action in Dublin.
How unreal is that?
Dairygold RollerToaster driver and friendly fellow, Henry McKean, picked up three passengers who wanted to give their time back to charities. Here are their stories…
Mekale volunteering with the DSPCA
Sue volunteering with Knitted Knockers
Charlie volunteering with The Special Olympics
Now doesn’t that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Like you’ve just had a delicious slice of toast and a lovely mug of tea.
