We fancy staying in this weekend, and we know you probably do too.

The weather hasn’t been the nicest as of late so all we’re craving is chilling under a cosy blanket with good food and quality TV. Pure bliss.

So, here are six reasons you’re probably going to want to stay in this weekend.

We have found the snack for you this weekend.

Listen, just because Valentine’s Day has been and gone, doesn’t mean the time for passion is over. And as far as snacks go, this one is as passionate as it gets.

Walkers Sensations Thai Sweet Cilli flavour starts subtly with sweet onion and a little chilli, then treats you to complex fresh herb flavours and finishes with sweet and satisfying heat.

Now that you have snacks sorted, you’ll need to pair it with the perfect bottle of wine.

And Xovial Albarino is ideal for just that. The aromatic Albarino, which is grown in the northwestern Rías Baixas region of Spain, treats you to some exciting tropical hints which accompany the typical greengage and citrus notes.

It goes great with Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli as it finishes refreshingly crisp and dry making it ideal to enjoy with the hints of sweetness and the piquant chilli of this snack.

Since you’ll be snacking on some delicious Thai Sweet chilli crisps, we’re feeling inspired to continue the trend. Some whopper home-cooking is a fab way to spice up any night in with mates or with bae.

Try your hand at whipping up some easy Pad Thai. Here’s how.

Put your noodles into a large heatproof bowl, pour boiling water over them and leave for four minutes before draining. Put lime juice, cayenne, sugar and fish sauce in a bowl and mix well.

Heat oil on a pan and fry prawns until warmed through. Add spring onions and noodles and toss around. Tip in the lime juice mixture, then stir in the beansprouts, peanuts and coriander.

Pile into a large dish, scatter with the rest of the peanuts and coriander and serve with lime wedges and sweet chilli sauce.

There are a good few things on the box this weekend that you’re probably not going to want to miss.

On Friday, you’ll catch Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal on RTÉ2 at 10.30pm. There’s also another unreal thriller on the telly on Friday night, with Virgin Media One showing The Call starring Halle Berry at 9pm.

On Saturday, you’ll catch the next edition of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. If last week’s season premiere was anything to go by, this week’s is set to be a scream.

As always, some unreal stuff has been added to Netflix recently.

For a night in with the gals, you should definitely binge on Next In Fashion. Or, if you fancy scaring the bejaysus out of yourself, Annabelle Creation has also recently been added to the streaming platform.

Plus, the highly-anticipated second season of Narcos: Mexico has also recently been added. Trust me, it’s some seriously addictive viewing for you and your mates to get into.
