We’re Looking For Someone To Be The Voice Of Dublin For These Paddy’s Day Celebrations
Calling all would-be reporters!
Always thought you'd be great in front of the camera? Dreamed of interviewing stars on the green carpet?
Well, it's time to stop dreaming and take action, because we've got an amazing opportunity for you and your mates.
We've teamed up with the lovely folks at Jameson to give one Lovin reader (and two friends who are also game for it) the exciting opportunity to become a social media reporter.
To celebrate their new 'Sine Metu' campaign, derived from the family motto that inspired John Jameson to set up his distillery back in 1780, Lovin and Jameson are helping this lucky gang take on a once-in-a-lifetime challenge by making them the voice of Dublin for 24 hours.
Our winners will broadcast live to an audience of over 750,000 people on March 15 and 16 through our social channels and will have access to every Jameson activity around Dublin as they showcase their exciting day.
No experience? No worries! You'll be given social media training by the Lovin team and backed up by your mates on the day for a bit of moral support.
The reporter experience will kick off at Jameson's first gig with just 60 other attendees at The Academy on March 15, where you'll perform an exclusive interview with Nathaniel Rateliff for the Lovin.ie Facebook page!
The following day our lucky trio will continue to cover Jameson's Paddy's Day celebrations while enjoying bottle designer Steve McCarthy's curated walking tour of Dublin – which will have three sessions between 10am–4pm – starting from St Patrick's Cathedral and taking in spots like The Blending Lab, where you can print your own personalised Jameson label.
All that walking is hungry work, so our journo team will find food and drinks at one of Jameson's best kept secrets: The Butcher's, a hidden prohibition-style bar.
After all your hard graft, the off-duty winners will be given dinner before attending the Bow St Sessions at The Academy, where they'll have media access to Nathaniel, All Tvvins and Brian Deady.
The trio are also cordially invited to the after show shindig at JJ's Bar in The Academy, with DJ Aiden Kelly on spinning duties.
Want to give it a go? We thought you might...
To be in with a chance to step out of your comfort zone and learn something new, we want you to submit a video, using the entry form below, showcasing why you're the right person to join our team for the day.
Alternatively, share a picture or video on Twitter or Instagram using #sinemetu and tagging @Lovindotie and @SineMetuSpirits.
We'll pick a winner on March 3 so get your entry in early.
The successful candidate must be over 25 years of age and available to report for Lovin.ie on March 15 and 16.

Sine Metu is the Jameson family motto. The motto itself was awarded to the Jameson family back in the 1500s for their bravery in battling pirates. More importantly, it’s inspired us since the first drops were distilled in 1780. That’s why it’s on every one of our bottles of Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Sine Metu is a permanent belief and attitude that we have at Jameson. We believe that living by Sine Metu can allow us all to laugh more, meet more people, experience new things. As a company it means we’re open to new possibilities, new connections, new ways of making whiskey.
It’s not about being rash or reckless. It’s all about being unafraid to invite life and others in.
