PIC: This Is Not A Drill – A Guinness Burger Now Exists In The Front Door In Galway

Darragh Berry

Do you like burgers? Do you like Guinness? Have you ever thought about mixing the two together.

No we don’t mean a burger with a pint, we mean a pint within the burger itself.

The Front Door Pub, located in the heart of Galway city and also the home of Sonny Molloys and Tigh Nora, has introduced a new addition to its menu which is going to be a huge fan favourite.

The Guinness Burger is bursting with Irish-inspired flavours.

The limited edition creation features a Guinness infused beef burger, porter cheese, red onion jam, lettuce and tomato served on a brioche bun. Served with chips with the option of ordering even more of the black stuff if you so wish.

But if you want to try it, you better call in this weekend as the Guinness burger is being served on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday to celebrate the Galway Food Festival, taking place in the city from 29th March – 1st April.

Guinness Burger Front Door

The Guinness Burger is an original recipe and is made in-house using McGeough’s Beef

The key to adding the Guinness taste to the meet is through infused onions, sauted in Guinness and blended into the burger.

The Guinness Burger took a few weeks to develop so that it tasted perfect, they wanted it to taste like Guinness but not be overpowered with by it.

Will you be giving this a bite this weekend? Let us know in the comments.
