We Finally Have a Date For the Final Season Of House of Cards

Megan Cassidy

It’s been a long year, but we finally have a date for the sixth and final season of Netflix original House of Cards.

Production has been plagued with controversy and speculation, after scenes were reshot to eliminate Kevin Spacey and his character Frank Underwood following sexual misconduct claims.

But we can now confirm that HOC will return to screens with Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) at the helm on November 2, 2018.

Netflix bosses had always touted an Autumn 2018 return for the show, but it was wishful thinking to hope we’d have it for the Halloween long weekend (October 29 – the weekend before).

The last season will see Robin Wright returning as President of the United States. Wright is joined by Academy Award nominees Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear as well as Cody Fern this season alongside Emmy Award nominee Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson, Emmy Award Nominee Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver.
