Ireland’s near-perfect Rugby World Cup campaign has been capsized by Japan.
After a very strong win over Scotland in Yokohama last Sunday, the odds looked to be in Ireland’s favour but unfortunately, it was not so this weekend.

Japan, hosts of the Rugby World Cup, pulled off a huge shock to win against the boys in green 19-12.
Early tries from Garry Ringrose and Rob Kearney put Ireland ahead, but Yu Tamura’s 72nd-minute penalty sealed Ireland’s doom and saw Japan take the lead.
