Ireland Ranks Very High In List Of Trips Americans Wanted To Take In 2018

Google released its 2018 search data today and it drew up some interesting results for Irish users.

As for our friends over in the States, it seems they can’t get enough of the Land Of A Thousand Welcomes. According to Business Insider, the search engine has found that when Americans searched the words ‘trip to…’ in 2018, Ireland was the fifth most trending destination that followed. We were only beaten in the list by The Bahamas (4), Iceland (3), Paris (2) and Italy (1).

Researching a trip to Ireland was more popular than Vegas (6), Bora Bora (7), New York (8), New Orleans (9) and Spain (10). Take that, dream destinations.

It seems we’re as popular as ever with our American friends and if our bucket list is anything to go by, it’s easy to see why.
