Hallelujah – There’s An Irish Cocktail Festival Taking Place All Over Ireland

Sarah

While the thoughts of a cocktail this morning might bring back vivid memories of the weekend’s All Ireland antics, we bet that come this weekend you’ll be dreaming of a cheeky Mai Tai or whiskey sour.

And, we’re dreaming of The Irish Cocktail Festival, a celebration of all the incredible drinks that bartenders are creating in bars all over Ireland.

Taking place in all 32 counties from Monday 9th October until Saturday 14th, any bar can take place in the festival by showcasing one of the several Irish spirits the fest is working with, and making a special cocktail with it for the week of the festival.

Basically, it’s a brilliant excuse to pop down to your fave cocktail bar and try something new.

There’ll also be a closing party at Eastside Tavern on Leeson Street, Dublin 2 from 6pm to 9pm on the last Saturday of the festival, with tickets available here.

With cocktails made using some of the best spirits on our island, including Dingle Distillery Gin & Vokda, Jameson Black Barrel, Powers Gold Label and Green Spot from Munster, Connemara Single Malt, Gunpowder Gin, The Pogues Irish Whiskey and Von Hallers Gin from Connaught, and Egan’s Irish Whiskey, Glendalough Double Barrel & Wild Botanical Gin, this is gonna be a wild one.
