PICS: This Is Without Doubt The Most Romantic Glamping Spot In Ireland

Sarah

Everyone has a romantic vision in their minds of gazing up at the stars on a dark night with a loved one as you sip on some merlot… etcetera, etcetera.

Now you can actually do just that and still be all warm and cosy – and most importantly for camping-phobes like myself – indoors. Wow.

Romance seekers, get acquainted with the breathtaking Bubble Domes in Finn Lough, Fermanagh.

These transparent domes are nestled in the woods under the foliage with a 180°view of the sky, and are completely unique in Ireland.

Each bubble dome feature a bespoke four poster bed, ensuite bathroom, Nespresso coffee machine, fluffy robe and slippers and daily breakfast.

What else could you possibly need?

The domes are on a 50 acre site on Muckross Woods, surrounded by the peaceful lake and marina where you can go kayaking and get adventurous with watersports.

For the more chilled guys and gals you’ll be happy to hear that a new spa area has recently been opened, with a guided spa trail offering bespoke spaces, nestled amongst the trees on the water’s edge.

It includes hot pools, saunas, a float room and fireside relaxation. Dreamy.

Just a short stroll through the woodland will bring you to the charming onsite restaurant The Kitchen, which serves brunch faves such as buttermilk pancakes or an egg baked in avocado and sprinkled with sea salt and bacon lardons. YES PLZ.

They also do lunch and dinner, with delights like Boatyard gin-cured salmon or pan-fried scallops both making our mouths water.

Gone are the days of roughing it in a plastic tent tied down with metal sticks and a headlamp for light, luxurious vibes are where it’s at.

You can stay in Finn Lough from €230 a night, with bookings made here.

Glamping has upped its game and this stunning place could well be the nicest site in Ireland – what do you think?
