The World’s Longest Non-Stop Flight Will Take Off Later This Year

Sarah

Now look, we love flying as much as the next person. One minute you’re in rainy Ireland, and then BAM! Sunshine.

Once you make it nice for yourself and wear comfy plane clothes and pick a good movie then a long-haul flight is actually a welcome break in our eyes. But with most commercial flights being no longer than 10-12 hours, the news that by the end of 2018 a plane will be making a 20 hour journey has us curious…

Singapore Airlines has ordered seven A350-900 Ultra Long Range aircraft, which it will use on non-stop flights between Singapore and the US, including the world’s longest commercial service between Singapore and New York.

Yep, Singapore to New York in a grand total of 20 hours.
