Two Irish routes have managed to make it onto the list of the world's best drives in a new book compiled by Lonely Planet — and we're not surprised in the least.
The Wild Atlantic Way and the Causeway Coastal Route made it into the top 50 list, which included such breathtaking scenic routes as the Great Ocean Road in Australia, Route 66 in the US and Ho Chi Minh Road in Vietnam.
Epic Drives Of The World counted the Irish routes among the best in the world because one can truly enjoy the "savage beauty" of Ireland while driving along them.
