We've all gone through the struggle of not being able to fall asleep on a flight, and it can actually become seriously frustrating.
Luckily, for anyone planning on heading away soon, Kara Mulder, a flight attendant and blogger, has revealed a clever tip that will help us hit the hay the next time we're on a plane.
She said the secret to actually being able to nod off is to change the time on your phone to match the time zone of your destination.
She wrote: "Immediately change your watch to the local time. Fall into a local time schedule and routine with eating and sleeping."
"Do not go to sleep at 1pm. Wait to fall asleep at a regular time. Your body will quickly readjust."
"If the snack and meal service is not served on your eating schedule, go ahead and pass on the food. Pack your own healthy granola bars, trail mix, dried fruit, etc. Also, be careful and avoid foods that cause gastrointestinal distress and be careful not to overeat."
It's safe to say we are DEFO trying this on our next flight.
