17 Of The All-Time Cosiest Pubs Around Ireland For A Drink With Friends

admin

Ireland is a country that is known all over the world for our pubs.

They come in all shapes and sizes and are invariably served with a good dose of craic, giving them their universal appeal.

While there are thousands across the country we wanted to focus today on a very specific type of Irish Pub; the cosiest. These are the pubs you’ll never want to leave. Small places. Places with a fire. Places with a warm cosy atmosphere where the pints taste better than in any other pub.

All you have to do now is find a friend and travel the length and breadth of the country ticking them all off the list. Hard work but somebody has to do it!

1. McDermott’s, Doolin, Clare

It beat out stiff competition to be deemed the comfiest pub in Clare, but the soft seats and deadly chips do it for us.
