A huge flash in skies over Scotland last night followed by the sound of an explosion lasting ten seconds have led meteorologists to believe that a meteor burned up in the earth’s atmosphere.
People who experienced the incident described buildings shaking during the bang.

Looks as if the flash has come from a meteor burning up in the atmosphere, lighting up the full sheet of cloud sitting at around 2,000ft.
