One industry that got hit especially hard was aviation, with many flights being cancelled or delayed. This video from Cork shows just how lucky one group of passengers were in the eye of the storm.
The good news is that the plane landed safely after coming in for another attempt shortly after this video. You can only imagine just how nervy all those on board were!
