If you're the type to plan a holiday all around food, you may want to take a look at this year's list of the greatest eateries in the world.

The annual awards ceremony for the World's 50 Best Restaurants took place in New York on Sunday night, with the winner being Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the countries with the highest number of top restaurants in the list were Spain, Italy, and the USA.
