Ireland Is Getting Its Very Own Cocktail Festival

If ever there was a nation capable of creating an excellent cocktail festival, it is Ireland. 

The Irish Cocktail Festival will run from October 10-15th, in venues all across the country. You can find participating venues here.

Each venue will be creating a signature cocktail, that they hope will nab them the prize of Best Cocktail in Ireland.

The public can vote using #BestIrishCocktail on Twitter or by getting in touch with Great Irish Beverages on Facebook.

All cocktails must have an Irish spirit at their core – to highlight the great work that Irish distilleries are doing. 

They are also encouraging the use of other Irish products, such as Cidona, Club Orange, Club Lemon and Poacher's Tonic. And it really is great to see the support for Irish businesses!

Last year, Great Irish Beverages hosted the second Dublin Cocktail Festival, a celebration of cocktails made with Irish Spirits. For 2016, they are taking the festival countrywide.
