There’s A Whiskey Festival On In Cork This Weekend And It Sounds Super Slick

Sarah

The Rebel City sure knows how to have the craic so it should come as no surprise that they’re hosting a festival in honour of the ultimate heavenly nectar: Whiskey.

Organised by Festival Cork, the festival is celebrating both Irish and International whiskeys, and is running from now until the 9th April.

This is pretty much all of our boozy dreams come true in one setting – there’s whiskey and cheese tastings, special whiskey cocktails in venues all across the city, guided tours of Jameson Distillery and even whiskey based foods.

Bacon Bourbon pecan pie helloooooo. <3

Electric Bar is also doing a deadly Blind Whiskey Tasting during the week, which challenges whiskey lovers to identify three different varieties to win a €100 voucher.

The whole of Cork is basically turning into one huge frisky whiskey town and we’re excited. Like, very excited.

Does this sound like something you might wanna check out? Of course it does.
