We’ll start by saying there’s no such thing as a bad weekend to head to Galway but if you manage to make it down during festival season, then you’re definitely on to a winner.
The summer season has kicked off in earnest and this weekend, it was the turn of Seafest to take over the city.
Celebrating everything that the sea has to offer, there were food demos, sailing opportunities, family events and tons more.
However, the stand-out event of the weekend was the jawdropping performance from Powerfly’s world champion flyboarders.
The action was brilliantly captured by Joe O’Shaughnessy of local newspaper The Connaught Tribune and has us already planning a trip West in 2018!
