If you’ve ever thought that your bargain discount food items taste just like their most expensive brand counterparts, you could be right.
An Aldi customer in the UK got an unexpected surprise when they treated themselves to a multipack of crisps recently.
While they purchased the German supermarket’s Snackrite Hoops, the bag actually contained several bags of Hula Hoops – which normally retail for a much higher price.
And apparently, it isn’t the first time there’s been a mix-up…

According to The Sun, it was later confirmed that KP Snacks produce both Hula Hoops and the Aldi version of the snack.
“I found the whole thing very amusing, I would bet they are the same product in different packets,” said Mr Clapp.
So, if you’re a crisp fan, you might want to head to the supermarket to stock up from now!
