Before you go rushing onto Skyscanner to book a flight to the far reaches of Europe, Asia or the U.S., why not check out a little closer to home? 

Yeah, we all know that Ireland is the most stunning country on the planet but judging by these pictures, our neighbours in Britain have a decent argument for being a close second when it comes to natural beauty.

For one thing, they drive on the same side of the road as us so there’s little or no confusion in renting a car!   

Plus, it’s not that big so you can squeeze a lot of the following incredible locations into a week or so.
