This Much-Loved Galway Restaurant Is Set To Be Demolished

It’s a local institution but The Galway Plate is to be demolished.

This week, Galway City Council granted permission for the demolition of the Tuam Road restaurant to make way for a new commercial and residential development.

According to Galway Bay FM, a new restaurant will be opened on the site, as well as apartments on the first and second floors of the new building.
