Dermot Kennedy adds extra Killarney date

A third date has been added due to phenomenal demand.

Dermot Kennedy is a hot commodity, with tickets to his gigs selling out in record time.

Last year saw the Irish singer play two gigs at the 3Arena just before Christmas. As expected, tickets flew off the shelves, selling out the venue with ease. Bowing out to a standing ovation, the crowd’s reaction wasn’t lost on Kennedy who drank the energy in.

And it looks like he’s in for another busy year with concerts lined up all across the country.

Set to play two shows at Malahide Castle later this year, he’ll also take to the stage at the Irish Independent Park in Cork before heading back to the capital for a performance at St Anne’s Park on June 5th.

Also named for two shows at the Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney, organisers have added a third and final date due to phenomenal demand for tickets.

Posting the announcement on his social media, Kennedy wrote:

“I’m adding a third and final show in Killarney on June 1st! Thank you so much for selling out all these dates. It’ll be such a special month.”

Tickets for the third Dermot Kennedy gig in Killarney go on sale this Friday at 9am.
