The Coronas announce Live at the Marquee gig for next year

Live at the Marquee 2020 is set to be a big one.

The Coronas have confirmed that they will take to the stage for a performance at Live at the Marquee next summer.

Currently, on tour around Ireland, the band are busy with a string of sell-out shows in Dublin this month. Heading south to the Rebel County, they’ll headline the event on May 29th 2020.

Organisers are set to make next year’s edition of Live at the Marquee one to remember, as it will mark the last year of the annual series of concerts.

Finishing up after the 2020 line-up, Glenveagh Properties have confirmed that works on the development of new homes will begin on the site at the end of next summer.

Fans were devastated by the news that Dave McPhillips would be leaving the band, and while news of a new gig is little consolation, it will surely help things keep ticking over as we eagerly await new music.

Other acts already announced for next year include The 2 Johnnies, UK comedian John Bishop, Dido and Motown Diva Diana Ross herself.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, December 19th at 9am from Ticketmaster.

The Coronas will follow their Live at the Marquee gig with an appearance at the Saltwater Festival in Westport on May 30th before heading west for a show at Galway’s Feverpitch Music Festival on June 27th.
