Despite only making his Ireland debut in November 2017, Bundee Aki has fast become a bit of a legend on these shores. The centre played a pivotal role in our 2018 Grand Slam success and followed it up by helping us overcome the country of his birth as we defeated New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium in November.
While the wider nation has only recently fallen for Aki's talents, he's been a hero in Connacht since joining the province in 2014, helping them clinch a Pro12 title in two years later. It's no surprise that Bundee is a fans' favourite in the west and that fact is very evident in this video which the star has posted to his social channels.
It shows a young fan called Chloe becoming overcome with emotion as she sees Aki approaching before Connacht's Challenge Cup victory of Sale on Saturday. The youngster starts off by performing an involuntary skip/hop before it all gets a bit much and the tears start to flow.
Luckily, Bundee is on hand to give Chloe a cuddle and no doubt the exchange made her day, if not her year.
