Niall Horan Used A Thoroughly Irish Reference When He Appeared On ‘The Ellen Show’ This Week

seank

Niall Horan is in promo mode right now for the launch of his new solo album Flicker, which is how he managed to drop an incredibly Irish reference on an uncomprehending American studio audience on The Ellen Show this week.

While telling the host about how he keeps in contact with his old One Direction bandmates, a prankster dressed as Harry Style jumped out of a box beside Horan to make him scream like a particularly irritable little baby.

After the joker ran away, Horan noticed that he’d put knee pads in the box while he was waiting to spring.

This inspired Horan to quip to the onlookers using the classic Irish line: “And there’s one for everyone in the audience!”

But apparently there aren’t an awful lot of Late Late fans in LA. Who knew?

Skip forward to 0.52 to witness the moment for yourself.

Don’t worry Niall, we got the reference at least.
